Ya know, I think as an adult I really take summer for granted. I can’t remember the last time, I really went out and enjoyed all the things summer has to offer (especially living in Florida). That is sort of what inspired this post, today. So! I got some help on this one! A very dear friend of mine, BandizzleJohnson Resident! This kid is the mirror image of my own style most days, and I adore it! Loud colors, funky patterns, crazy hair! His style is 100% original, and I couldn’t think of a better person to collaborate with on featuring the rare men’s piece that C-88 offers on occasion! It’s not blue, I know, but this Tee*fy jumper is amazing. Bright, and beautiful in the way it fits your avi, so it’s pretty easy to see why I’ve featured it!  Also, NEWNESS from Truth! 😀 Have I said how much I freaking adore their new hair colors? Cause I do. Lots. You need to go check it out if you haven’t yet!

Bandi is rockin’ the shorts from Flow that are featured this month at C-88 (Only men’s item there, but they’re pretty damn spiffy!). They come in a few different color options and the fit is great!  I’m also going to take a moment to throw a little plug for Mr. Dizzle. He’s recently opened up a club, called 8-Bit! New to the grid, but the decor and atmosphere are amazing, especially if you’re an 80’s kid, like myself!  Great atmosphere, and tunage, so if you get a chance please go pay him a visit HERE!

Valentina released these amazing bikini’s with a coverup to go along with them, it’s a wonderful summer piece! Truth also had a contribution this month with the Arianna hair! Hah, I took these photos, probably about two weeks ago, but I’m the easily distracted sort, so things are a bit late!  Hihi, and happy Friday! So, this outfit is probably one of my favorite ever! I actually found the shirt creator while working a shift at Rez Nightclub, haha. One of the clubgoers had it on and was nice enough to share! I’m pretty much addicted to By Emi now! I’ve gotten quite a few other items from this designer, and they’re all a fair bit of awesome!  The hair is one of Exile’s newer ones! I can’t say new anymore cause well.. yeah, I’m slow at posting, lol. Exile has some amazing color fades now, with their new HUD based hairs! A ton of different color options, so go check it out! The decor in this was pretty simple, and.. on theme, I guess, hah. The ‘mustache rides’ sign was a 10L find on the marketplace, and the nice collection of ‘stache photos is from Wayward Muse. Lots of fun quirky home accents (and lots of mustache, yay!) Check them out!

I have to say, I wear these jeans a lot! They are probably one of my favorite pair that I’ve collected since mesh became available. They’re my go to jeans when it seems I’ve nothing to wear (happens more than you would think)! So yeah, moar mustaches! 😀 I went a little overboard, and this post has really been delayed a lot because of my epic distractedness level lately. Some great things to share with this one, though! The sweater is from Mon Tissu! I used to love this store hard and often on my other avi, but since  changing things up a bit I’ve found it harder to incorporate them into my style. When I saw this shirt I freaked, and got it immediately! Hair is semi-new still and from Magika! They are actually having a 50% off sale RIGHT NOW! So yeah, go look, go buy because Magika has some of my favorite fades to date! ❤ The glasses in this shot are probably one of my gavorite accessories that I own. I wear them all the time, and get lots of fun, weird stares! They’re silly, funny, and a must have for any stache enthusiast. As far as decor in this shot, I kept it pretty simple, using these great hanging mustaches from Breno! They are pretty amazing for quirky random decor.

Okay! Last one for this set of photos! I know it’s taken me a really REALLY long time to update. To give a hint, I started writing this post on June 21st, but with RL being what it is, I get pulled away a lot.  My blog isn’t so much for what is the newest and most trendsetting, but more of what I personally find to be amazing within in fashion in SL.

This dress was actually a gift from a friend, and it’s still one of my absolute favorites! ❤  The mesh moves nicely, and Birdy has a really nice variety of amazing and a little quirky dresses to take a look at! This is also still a fairly new hair from Truth! I’ve said it once already, but I really really love their new color packs as well as the store’s new look! You should go check them out! :3

So! Nearly Civilized is officially up and running!  UAU!  I’m actually really really excited to be back into blogging. It has been a while, and while Randomness was amazing, and it was definitely my baby, change was needed!  So yeah! Hi and stuff! (Yeah I totally just jacked this phrase from a certain someone, but, I did it. Just go with it.)

It’s going to be a bit different around here. Not so much with the up-to-date, newest, shiniest things. There will be some newness, but in general it will just be my style. What I dig. The stores I geek out over, and the sims I love to visit for photos!  Should be a good time.

incidentally, there is newness in this shot! New Truth hair! I love the new textures and colors that Truth Hawks has put out recently. I’m a big fan of crazy random colors, and doubly so when it comes to hair. Check them out. Just do it. 😀  Another fun thing here, is the shirt. It may look like I’m wearing ultra perky mesh boobies, but actually, I’m just rocking an amazing shirt from Alterego!  These are really nice because you don’t need Lola’s to get an awesome rack. >.> So all you slender avi’s out there who can’t get the fantastically perky mesh tata’s to fit you right, you can fake it. You should fake it, because these shirts are just gorgeous, and I’ll probably be featuring a few of them.

Just a short one tonight, and  yes, as always, the title mirrors a song. Krewella has been on my playlist for a bit now, so expect a few more shorts inspired by their tunage!
